Square Enix Presents event took place today. Studios under the umbrella of Square Enix announced their new games.
E3, one of the biggest game fairs in the world, continues without slowing down. After Xbox, Bethesda and Ubisoft, it's Square Enix's turn, the producer of famous games such as Final Fantasy, Tomb Raider and Just Cause. This year, the company made its mark on the night with the event called Square Enix Presents.
The first game of the night came from Eidos-Montréal, a subsidiary of Square Enix. The brand announced the game of Guardians of the Galaxy, one of the recently popular series of the Marvel cinematic universe, and shared the gameplay video. As the main character, you go on an adventure in space by managing the captain of the team, Star Lord. The game is coming to PlayStation 5/4, Xbox One, Xbox Series S/X and PC on October 26 and is available for pre-order now.
The second game of the night was the sequel to Hitman Sniper, a mobile game developed by Square Enix Montreal. Unfortunately, we do not encounter agent 47 in Hitman Sniper: The Shadows and we complete different missions by managing 5 different characters named Soji, Kiya, Kolzak, Knight and Stone. The game is coming for both iOS and Android devices at the end of the year.
The second game came from Platinum Games, another sub-studio of Square Enix. In Babylon's Fall, an MMO RPG game set in the middle centuries with different game modes, your goal is to join a group of warriors and explore Babylon's Titanic tower. We would also like to mention that the game has a multiplayer mode for up to 4 players. Although the launch date of the game is not announced, you can reach the closed beta page from this link.
Life is Strange, a graphic adventure game jointly developed by Square Enix and some sub-companies and finding its own audience for years, meets its fans with its True Colors version. In the new game Life is Strange: True Colors, you are investigating the death of your brother by directing Alex Chen. The game, which will go on sale on September 10, will be playable on Playstation 5/4, Xbox One, Xbox Series S/X and PC.
The last big game of the night was Stranger of Paradise Final Fantasy Origin, developed by Square Enix and its sub-studios. It has been announced that the game will be introduced in 2022. Thus, the game became the 4th Final Fantasy game under development, along with Final Fantasy 16, Final Fantasy Remake Part 2, and Final Fantasy 14.
